Beginners Introductory Program
This is an introductory program which covers the elementary in music, and getting to know your instrument of choice better. It is best suited for pupils with no prior music education background before moving on to intermediate and higher levels. This is a delicate phase in our program as it creates the first impression for our young learners, so our teachers carefully design and implement student specific lessons to encourage a fun and loving approach to playing music.
ABRSM Program
We follow the ABRSM British syllabus incorporating both practical and theory. It is internationally recognised, and certification will be provided upon successful completion of each grade (1-8). Students are encouraged to take the exams as we find it an excellent way to benchmark the progress of both our students and teachers. All lessons are taught in English, making this also beneficial for those who would like to learn and practice using the English language. Music Exams and assessments we offer include:
Nursery Rhymes & Introduction to Music for Kids at Kino Pilotů
This is a group music workshop held every TUESDAY (starting February 6, 2018) from 4.30 - 6 PM at Kino Pilotů, Vrsovice.

Lessons are divided into two age groups; ages 1 - 2 and 3 - 7, shown in the column below.
It brings children together to explore the wonders of music, through learning of the following:
The workshop is conducted in English, however there will be a person to assist with the Czech language.
There will be a concert held in summer to display the learning outcomes and efforts put in by all.

Music for children with Autism & ADHD
We believe music can do wonders for special needs children and these children can do wonders with music! The program offers a child-specific approach as well as periodic group sessions to help children within this spectrum develop sensory perception, improve coordination and increase awareness. It is also a form of play/speech therapy, as well as a way to improve social skills and interaction. Parents / Guardians / Shadows are welcome to join in these sessions. Call us for more information.
Music Therapy
These sessions are developed to help children get better in focusing, behaviour, coordination and fine motor skills, as well as cognitive and speech ability, and to achieve a calm state of mind and body after each session, among other goals.
Our program offers a varied approach, such as using music tonalities, differing sound qualities, volume, rhythm, dance, singing, and other methods to help improve the well-being of a child. Call us for more information.
Young Composers Program
This program offers a chance for our students to participate in a creative composition activity and performance. It is mainly for pupils who have attained a certain level of musicianship skill to participate in our composition program, after which selected pieces will be showcased at our annual concert.
Annual School Concert
The annual concert is held to showcase the young talents and efforts put in through the year by all students as well as our teachers. Here, we encourage performance as part of our curriculum and the idea is to help young musicians to overcome stage fright, as well as to help children develop confidence, and positivity.
BISM Kids Orchestra
This program is open to all children who would like to be part of an orchestra. We are a music loving orchestra family so come and be part of it! We have rehearsals once weekly. Get in touch for further inquiries.
Choir Singing for Women
This is a group singing session for women, held every Tuesday, at Kino Pilotů.
It aims to bring women together to:
1) Enjoy the sound and harmony created through voice
2) To practice weekly and get better at singing
3) To benefit from the energy created from group singing and be part of an amazing group
Through learning of the following:

-SINGING WITH PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT
-VOCAL TRAINING
-BASIC MUSIC THEORY & NOTATION

-HEALING/ GROUP SINGING ENERGY THERAPY
-HAVING FUN!
These sessions are conducted in English.
Sessions cost 180 Czk /week.
UKULELE CLASSES KIDS 5 - 12
- This class is like no other! It is absolutely fun and terrific!
- The group of kids are an amazing bunch, everyone so talented and motivated.
- Open to kids ages 5 - 12
- Available days are : Mondays 4.15pm - 5pm AND Tuesdays 3.45pm - 4.30pm

KIDS CHOIR Ages 6 - 12
- This is a singing class with lots of fun tunes and fun in general!
- The kids do enjoy singing with their friends, and the teacher encourages it, sings along, plays the piano to accompany, guiding their path to triumph!
- Classes are on on Tuesdays, from 5.30pm - 6.30pm / Sept 17 - Dec 03 (12 classes)
